Adios Motherfucker, or AMF, is the type of cocktail that will make you go loco all night and regret everything in the morning. Perfect for a Saturday night with the boys, if you have the balls to order one 😀 The badass name and the fact that there are 5 different spirits inside are a clear warning of what can happen and as we all know, blue drinks are always trouble. 

The components for this magical elixir are vodka, white rum, tequila, gin, blue curacao, sweet n sour mix, and sprite. Yea… 😀 As you can see, it’s very similar to the Long Island Iced Tea with just 2 ingredients being different (blue curacao instead of Cointreau and Sprite instead of Coca-Cola). Another similarity Adios Motherfucker has to Long Island Iced Tea is the taste. Refreshing and kinda sweet, which makes it really dangerous.
There isn’t much on the origin of the cocktail, but we know it is American, and from the late 20th century, when shocking cocktail names were a thing. Who created it and why remains a mystery.

Ingredients:

  1. ½ Ounce (15 ml) of vodka.
  2. ½ Ounce (15 ml) of gin.
  3. ½ Ounce (15 ml) of white rum.
  4. ½ Ounce (15 ml) of tequila.
  5. ½ Ounce (15 ml) of blue curacao.
  6. 2 Ounces (60 ml) of sweet n sour mix (that is half simple syrup, half fresh lime juice).
  7. Sprite or 7UP.
  8. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a cherry. Optional.

 

Preparation:

Just like the Long Island Iced Tea…

  1. Add all ingredients (except the Spire) to a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake well.
  3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and top up with Sprite.
  4. Garnish and enjoy.
